Volunteer Blog from Adam and Alicia

Who are we? Hi! We are Alicia and Adam and we are visiting Nepal from the UK. In Sept 2017 we left our jobs back home and we began to travel the world. Back home I, Alicia, was a secondary school Geography teacher whilst Adam worked in marketing. We arrived at KRMEF on 17th Oct 2017, and unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 week, but what a joy this week has been! What have we done whilst we are here? Arriving at the foundation we were apprehensive about how we would be able to help – neither of us had worked on a farm before! But within a few hours we learnt there were a number of ways in which we could actually help, and not just by getting our hands dirty on the farm. Adam’s background in marketing was of big interest to Krishna, as the foundation strives to increase and improve their social media presence and begin to promote the newly renovated eco guesthouse.
